Connect LegalLoop
Add the connector and sign in with your LegalLoop account. No file to edit, no key to copy.
- Open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
- Paste this URL and click Add:

- Click Connect and approve LegalLoop in the page that opens. Sign in there like you do here: Google, or the email and password from your signup.
- Download the LegalLoop skill v1.7.8 build 85
- Open Settings → Skills (also under Capabilities), click Upload skill, and select the downloaded
legalloop-skill.zip. It activates on any legal question. - Quit Claude and reopen it, so it picks up the connector and the skill.
Add the connector with one command, then sign in with your LegalLoop account:

Pick legalloop → Authenticate, and approve in the browser page that opens. Sign in there like you do here: Google, or the email and password from your signup. Forgot it? Password in the top bar resets it.
That is enough to ask legal questions: every LegalLoop card comes back complete from the server, with its header, progress lines and citations.
Add the skill too (optional, for the guided flow)
The skill adds the /ll product card and the guided question flow. Download it, then unzip it into your personal skills folder and restart Claude Code:

Advanced: paste an API key instead
In Claude Desktop: Settings → Developer → Edit Config. Paste, save, reopen the app.
On macOS the file is at ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json
Run this in your terminal to register the LegalLoop MCP with a static key.
Check that it's working
Open a new chat and ask a legal question. Approve "LegalLoop" when Claude asks.
You'll get an answer with the laws it used.
Shortcut not found?
Quit Claude and reopen it, then try again. If it's still missing, you don't need it: ask in plain English and approve the tool call.
Same determination, same citations. The shortcut only saves you naming LegalLoop.

Connect on WhatsApp
Talk to the LegalLoop assistant from your phone. It answers from your company profile and the encoded law, the same as in Claude, and links you back here for anything that needs a screen.
- Scan the QR code or open the chat on your phone.
- Send the message it prefills. It carries your connection code, , good for 30 minutes.
- This page updates within a few seconds of the assistant hearing from you.
Messages travel through WhatsApp, a Meta service. LegalLoop keeps your number and the questions you ask; nothing you send is used to train a model. Disconnect any time.
