What we collect when you create a free account

Your name, work email, company or firm, role, and the jurisdictions and topics you tell us you follow. At signup we also record your IP address and browser signature, for rate-limiting and as part of the consent record. A copy of your signup lands in our own inbox and, if you asked to hear from us, in our contact records. No tracking pixels in the app, no data bought from anyone.

What it's used for

• Legal updates by email every two weeks: only if you asked for it, and, for a signup-form tick, confirmed from your inbox. Every issue carries a one-click unsubscribe that works without logging in.
• Personalising your feed: the jurisdictions and topics you chose decide what's flagged as relevant to you.
• A conversation about the full product: only if you ticked "an advisor may contact me". Leave it unticked and nobody contacts you. Change your mind any time: one line to [email protected] and we mark it off, timestamped.

What we never do with it

• No selling your details, and no sharing beyond the service providers that deliver our email and host the product.
• No adding you to any list you didn't explicitly join, and consent is recorded with a timestamp both ways.
• An unsubscribe or opt-out on one channel suppresses you everywhere we operate.

Deleting your data

Email [email protected] from your account address and we delete the account, its interest scope, and its subscription, and remove you from our contact records. We keep the signup record itself (what you ticked, when, and from which address) for as long as we need to prove the consent existed.
